And being so silly too! While talking to a friend Ellie started "singing" and being totally silly in her high chair. She kicked her foot out and was making funny fishy faces with her hands. She is such a riot!

Popcorn Date
Sometimes at night, before we all go to bed, we have a popcorn date. Ellie is really cute about it. When the bag of popcorn goes into the microwave she runs over to the couch and climbs up, all ready for the popcorn. Then, when Mom's popcorn is gone she moves over to Daddy and starts helping him with his.
Christmas Eve
This Christmas we stayed home for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. It was really nice having that time with just the three of us. During most of Decemeber our Christmas tree had been in our office area which is gated off. On Christmas Eve we moved the tree into our living room. By the end of the evening all of our ornaments had been moved to the highest section of the tree out of Ellie's reach. For the next few days whenever anyone stopped by I was very aware of how funny our tree decorating must have looked. By Christmas morning Ellie had figured out that anything wrapped had a potentially exciting item inside. When we went over to Brian's Moms house in the afternoon, we walked in and Ellie took one look at all the gifts under the tree, shouted "oooouuuuuuu!!!!" and immediately ran over to begin the opening process. Overall, it was a very fun Christmas.
