Has it seriously been since Christmas of 2011?? Oh my goodness! A year and a half later...

A SUMMER UPDATE!

Last day of school. Ellie's wonderful kindergarten teacher!

Sarah joined Tio Will and moved in!

So we left the kids with them for a weekend.

And did city stuff, like this.

There was a fun fair in our neighborhood.

So we ate cookies,

And twirled batons,

And got tatoos.

So cool.

We did some city gardening.

Colin liked it.

So did Ellie.

We found out E's weight was way down.

So I've been beefing things up a bit! mmmmmmm

And they've been bulking up at the gym (nastics).

Bertie came to visit! She showed E the pretty flower girl dress she will wear.

E wasn't impressed, and it made us laugh hard (the dress is perfect!).

We ate Red Mango by the fountains in Evanston (Ellie's favorite summer splurge).

Mommy flew down to keep Aunt Sabrina and new niece Zoe company for a long weekend (lucky me!)

We've been babysitting once a week.

Ellie is an amazing assistant!

Aunt Kati married John!

Colin and Ellie were ring-bearer and flower girl.

This also meant lots of fun time with cousins we don't see often enough.

And sister-in-laws I miss desperately.

We have been to the pool a LOT this summer.

And enjoyed popsicles.

And we had an intense heat spell in Chicago. Colin spent a few mornings in nothing but his under-roos!
